Q: What do you mean by "independent living?"

A: Our residents are self-reliant as they would be if they lived in their own home, and engage in all day-to-day living activities such as meal preparation, driving to the store, shopping, personal care and all other necessities. We also accept residents who can live independently with the help of a spouse or assistant. The Meetinghouse Village staff does not provide healthcare assistance. We enable seniors to live independently while also enjoying the community and fellowship of capable peers in a supportive environment.
